Two other photos are available from the Latino Review and provides a back view image of Megatron. However, do not expect something so detailed as what he’d look like in the movie. I assume all of those are being in CG so such leaks would be just like this - IMAGES!
Transformers 2 is set to hit theaters June 26, 2009.

Some new updates about Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen have come up. Below is a rundown so you dont get confused.
Though not confirmed there is huge speculation Megatron will be a tank in the next movie. The name change to Galvatron is also being debated.
Soundwave, the pesky little Decepticon, wont be turning into an ice cream truck. But we have written about a report earlier of twin robots merging to form one.
Seven Decepticons, collectively known as the Constructicons (because they’re construction vehicles), will me merging to form the Devastator. This report coincides with earlier reports that a crane was one of the robot vehicles.
The trailer for the Transformers 2 movie will come as a preview in the Star Trek movie. The Star Trek is expected to be released May 8, 2009.
The Constructicons - Scrapper, BoneCrusher, Scavenger, Mixmaster, Hook and Long Haul - construction vehicles who merge to form the gigantic (and stupid) super robot Devastator will be among the Decepticons of Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.
Earlier last month, there had been reports that a Crane will be one of the robots seen in the movie. The buzz already raised rumors of the other Contructicons being part of it but not The Devastator. Yesterday’s confirmation from IESB was a bit of a surprise and a good answer to “How are you gonna top the first movie?”
Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen will be released June 26, 2009.
What’s a Michael Bay movie without car spiraling out of nowhere. This week, explosion rocked Long Beach as seen in this video from the upcoming Transformers sequel. It’s awesome enough to see in live action (but that’s because its simulated of course). Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters June 26, 2009.
I wouldn’t imagine a Transformers movie without it’s prime villain Megatron. It’s just law - there’s Jordan and Pippen, Batman and Robin, Dick and Clark, LotLot and Monching, and there should always be a Megatron for an Optimus Prime. That’s unless Shia LaBeouf killed Megatron in the last movie.
Oh yeah.. he did.
Luckily, the highly sophisticated mind of Michael Bay is gonna bring Megatron back in the sequel Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, only, as a tank. Now I dont know if it’s true but judging from the fact that Shia did put a cube in his heart.. chest.. exoskeleton last time, he might as well get an overhaul. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen comes to theaters June 26, 2009.
After Shia LaBeouf drove drunk, wrecked his car, injured himself, ran into police, got himself into the hospital, and cost the Transformers movie some losses for not being able to shoot a month, you’d think directory Bay would just go nuts about it.
Well, I’m sure he did, but as a professional he’d also have to make sure that everything worked out and it seems the original wee-time that they had for LaBeouf’s booboo isn’t gonna happen at all. If I were the director, which is somewhat hypothetical and delusional at the same time, I would probably be shooting other scenes. However, under Michael Bay’s watch, it seems he’d rather make adjustments to the Transformers 2 script in order to accommodate LaBeouf’s injuries.
Interest in the coming Transformers movie grows anew as the title for the sequel is released. I’m usually not one to bear eye-rolling news but Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen sounds to be a villains movie (which means the franchise is most likely gearing up for a 3rd installment).
The Michael Bay movie will also feature new robots beginning with Acree, the lady-Autobot who was supposed to be in the first film. There’s also news about another airplane robot named Jetfire, a go-cart, and twin robots forming an ice cream truck.
