So yeah, he is old, but in his new movie Clint Eastwood plays the part. I didn’t bother checking out the synopsis of the movie because all Clint Eastood flicks are beyond me (if he ever did something like Dude Where’s My Car Though, that’s my movie).
I do find the trailer cool especially because of the stark contrasts between the old and current views. I realize that a lot of folks would be skeptical of Asian neighbors especially in predominantly white states in the country, and I think the movie has a good message of seeing past colors. Plus Eastwood is kick ass in the way he uses his hand in miming a gun shooting (and quite scary too). I guess I’ll be watching this movie.
The video above shows new 3d motion hologram technology from RabbitHole. It is basically an image - a hologram - printed on a flat film surface but displays a 3d image without the need for eyewear. For the public, I think it provides a new way of catching eyes which makes it a probably tool for marketing.
According to buzz reports, Avatar director James Cameron has expressed interest in this technology before, so we might actually be seeing one of these in our theater poster soon. I personally like the teleporting monster.
Monday is always quite boring for movie news; like a web focus group talking about the longtail. You can go on and on and not really find anything spectacular. Luckily today, as I was updating my soon-to-be primary blog, I came across this video about Batman/Toy Story. One of them awesomely fan-made videos. Enjoy.
Why does it seem like Spiderman always becomes extra sensitive when Venom is around? That’s certainly the impression I got from the new trailer of Spiderman: Web of Shadows. MTV recently ran an article about it and this is what they have to say:
Not to be outdone by all the hype surrounding “Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe,” Marvel and Activision have unleashed an all-new trailer for the upcoming “Spider-Man: Web of Shadows” and…wow, clearly Web-Heads will not be disappointed.
I said earlier that Twilight is on the final stretch of its promotions and is definitely aggressive. They’ve released a new poster earlier this week and today they put a new trailer. This is the third trailer for the flick and it’s definitely more ..uhm ..corny, cheezy ..god I cant even imagine how much I wanna say FAIL refreshing!
Kidding. Of course I love it. It’s better to be attacked by vampires than by fans. The Twilight movie is set to hit theaters November 21.
I along with other Dragonball fans have been anxiously waiting for the trailer to see how exactly our childhood would be ruined by the film’s adaptation. The leaked trailer above looks fairly respectable to me even if it doesn’t have audio. I think I’ll be watching this movie however bad it is anyways. What do you think?
There’s a new Spirit movie trailer over at MovieWeb and I think this one is good. I had initially been skeptical about the movie because I didn’t know if it would work out on Frank Miller’s third try with the Sin-City’ish style. But then this one does have Sam Jackson…
Gabriel Macht plays The Spirit and is due in theaters December 25, 2008.
I have not been coy about my dislike for Clint Eastwood movies - Letters from Iwo Jima, Flags of Our Fathers, Million Dollar Baby, The Bridges of Madison County - I never liked each one of them. Clint Eastwood movies get me to look at my watch at least three times as the film progresses. So why am I giving him the benefit of my doubts for the movie Changeling?
Indeed I had been swayed to watch a bad movie based on its trailer before, but Angelina Jolie and John Malcovich have never failed me. This one in fact, have gotten some artsy-fartsy Oscar buzz for itself. Changeling hits theaters October 31, 2008.
I’ve received a couple of questions about the Dragonball movie trailer being leaked and, by the looks of the views that the fake ones had received on YouTube, it looks like there’s a lot searching for a bootleg trailer.
I can tell you that there’s currently none on the web right now that has anything to do with the official Dragonball movie trailer, but I do know that the trailer will be released this month as one of the previews for the Max Payne movie. So there you go…
