There was once a time when Matthew McConaughey made good movies. It might have been the success of his movie Failure to Launch that put him on this path to have films where he can be shirtless all the time. His new movie, Surfer Dude looks exactly to have this purpose.

This movie looks to be playing on the surfer typecast - laid back, sexy, not-so-smart. However, we can neither say that the stereotype of people dont exist.
