I wish I could have a video blog instead of a podcast, but I dont really have time nor the guts. Last night was exceptional for me and my kind - comic book and superhero lovers - with the premiere of NBC’s 3rd season of Heroes. It was a three hour premiere that, apart from the first hour, rocked.
Some of the revelations included Who shot Nathan Petrelli, Angela Petrelli’s super power, Sylar and his quest to take Claire’s power, the people at Level 5, Hiro Nakamura’s nemesis and SEXY SURESH! LOL!
Also we’ve ran a POLL on who will be a villain this season; please answer it! And while I really appreciate feedback, I haven’t heard myself from the speakers for a long time …so be nice.
Heroes season 3 begins September 22, 2008. Check out the featurette below and an interview with Hiro Nakamura for an inside look on the upcoming TV series.
I got a copy of the Heroes 2 DVD which went out yesterday and immediately played the Heroes 3 sneak peek. It’s not as awesome as the series primer (shown above) but it did give good insight of what’s gonna happen in the next season:
Sylar is back, which means he’s out to kill the cheerleader
Claire’s “I always love you” quip to Peter Petrelli happens in the future.
The series starts immediately after the assassination of Nathan, where Peter and Matt shoots the person whom they think shot him.
There is a Level 5
Mohender is now with Maya, and looks to be developing something for her.
The little girl, Miley?, has been shipped to some place safe
Matt discovers the ability to control other people’s minds.
Fan-made trailers are not hard to find in the web. But those that are made well doesn’t come too often. And since this blog covers the Heroes television series as well, I figured it might be good to put it. After all, it starts in a little over a month, beginning September 22, 2008.
Months on in before the Heroes three hour premiere and it’s already getting tons of attention. Recently here in BackLineMedia we’ve also covered a scenario of Claire going villain in the future. Rest on NBC to feed fuel on this fire by releasing webisodes exclusively for netizens and fans.
Above is Chapter 1 of Going Postal webisode called A Nifty Trick. It does not involve any Heroes stars and the quality might seem substandard but we’ve heard reports of a so-called Banshee being part of the series. So we’ll see if this ties up.
Heroes star Hayden Panettiere, who’s surname is as hard to spell as her boyfriend’s (seriously, if those two had a child..), looks to be playing nasty in the future. E reports:
Source: In the first three minutes, one of the lead heroes is going to bust a cap off at one of the other lead heroes. And oh yeah, the guy she pulls the trigger on just might be the guy she’s playing tonsil hockey with in real life. She also tells him, “I always loved you.” We’re gonna see Claire-bear with dark hair and this also involves a shift in time.
During last year’s writer strike, Heroes seemed hurried up. But that didn’t stop it from getting a good story across. Nathan Petrelli was assassinated, Claire threatened to go to the media, the company wasn’t been brought down, Hiro Nakamura is in a story of his own, and Sylar, he just got better.
This overwhelming turn of events is probably why NBC will open Heroes on September 15, 2008 with a 3 hr premiere, which would begin with an hour of catch-up (using previous clips), and two hours more from where the story left off. What know as far as the story is that a girl named Daphne, a so-called speedster, will be Hiro’s arch enemy. And Claire’s real mom, the fire girl, will also be back.
More pictures and clips will be released as the months roll by. I should up to it so keep checking this site. =P
