This is the new picture to come out of Twilight camp, and all the young people out there must be feeling giddy with that awesome shot of Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen almost kissing Bella Swan played by Kristen Stewart. Honestly, I still see Kristen as the little Catch that Kid kid but who cares… it’s your generation.
While promoting his new movie Babylon A.D., Vin Diesel was asked why he hasn’t come up in any super hero movies yet. His answer, “I’m waiting on a film where the protagonist is the villain.”
The MTV article mentioned The Rhino, Red Skull, Thanos, Tombstone, Stilt-Man as probably characters to Diesel’s descriptions but I’m not sure how much they fit. I mean, Red Skull is Russian (isn’t he?), Thanos is alien, and Tombstone and Stilt-Man are unheard. Rhino could be a possibility since Spiderman 4 is in the works, but I doubt that character has enough depth as well.

If you’ve followed this blog, you know that I have not had good things to say about the upcoming Dragonball movie primarily because I think, looking at the photos, a lot of the stuff didn’t work starting with the hair and costumes. Of course, I always ended these previous posts demanding for a trailer so I can make better judgment.
Early last week, reports flourished in the net about the movie being scraped by Fox due to the unpopular feedback. Days after, new buzz rose after Superheroflix reported that not only was the Dragonball movie not canceled, it was also awesome.
“Our studio contact, who we aren’t allowed to name at the moment, worked on the production, and has seen the completed movie. Everyone involved seems to think they have a hit on their hands, and he even went on to say that it was ‘pretty darn awesome. There is certainly talk about a sequel. I have no doubt that it will happen. I’m sure that it will be a trilogy.”
Big words to blurt out, I say, which may well be the product of faith from working in the film. At least for now my hatred has been quelled, but I still am waiting for the trailer. Justin Chatwin plays Goku in this movie set to hit theaters on April 10, 2009.
As film makers, it’s not new to have to shoot in places where electricity is almost unheard of. Kristen Bell is a busy person in Hollywood with several films on hand and another Heroes season underway. Our beloved Veronica Mars has added one more project and it hits close to home; she is up to play the lead female in Imagi Entertainment’s CG movie Astro Boy.
This is teh YAY! for me in that I actually just love hearing updates about my childhood’s favorite superhero way before I was swiped by the XMen to read comics. I dont really know how well Kristen Bell will voice the character, nor do I have any reservations. As far as I’m concerned, Astro Boy will rock. =)
For me nicely maintained teeth relates to good hygiene, and those that dont just connotes perceptions as negative. Hence, our teeth should always be treated with great importance.

Needless to say, I hope this movie flops.. but I doubt it. Fast and the Furious 4 hits theaters June 5, 2009 and stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriguez.
Last week, Christopher Mintz Plasse (aka. McLovin) was cast as the villain Red Mist in the ultra-violent teen flick Kick Ass. Today the movie just got additional kick ass actors in Nicolas Cage and Aaron Johnson.
Nicolas Cage is of course a very reliable dude in Hollywood and is certainly a good addition to this movie. I find Aaron Johnson to be the mystery man in that with so little known about him, he got the lead part. Rest on Harry Potter to mess up November movies by moving its release date to 2009. With companies now eager to take its spot (due to the high influx of people), Twilight immediately announced that it will have its movie shown on November 21st. And with that, James Bond himself has been moved from an earlier release date of November 7 to November 14th, a week later than expected, and two weeks behind a worldwide release.
Damn you Harry Potter! That’s all I have to say.
Had I been blogging since March, I would’ve had a roll writing about Zac Efron and the ghost he saw on the set of his upcoming movie Me and Orson Welles. But with new pictures of him coming out, I think I’ve seen a ghost myself. Waytago (back in time) Zac!
PLOT:
In New York in 1937, seventeen year-old Richard Samuels meets theatre director Orson Welles, whom he convinces to give him the role of Lucius in Julius Caesar, Broadway’s first Shakespearean production. Welles, who is having an extramarital affair with the leading actress while his wife is pregnant, couples Richard with production assistant Sonja Jones to rehearse. Welles decides the entire production crew would benefit from a coupling game, and Richard cheats to ensure he is paired with Sonja.
