Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, the 4th installment for the Terminator franchise has started to shoot in New Mexico (which is not really Mexico), which means we’re gonna get another load of robots trying to eradicate humanity from Earth come 2009.

Christian Bale — aka. Batman — plays John Connor who, if you followed the franchise, pretty much grew up in front of your eyes. Literally. He started as a 10 year old in Terminator 2 Judgement Day, became a teen in the tv series of Sarah Connors (his mom) to now finally becoming an adult still in the clutches of a company using robots kill mankind. A life that has seen no growth which in 21st century standards is pretty boring had he did not grown a fine man. Lolz!

Anyway, other people cast in this movie includes Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men, American Gangster), Anton Yelchin (Charlie Bartlett, Star Trek).. and no Governator. Yay!

  6. there’s this Christian Bale flick I saw on the bus one night on the way home from work. The movie was called Equilibrium and was set in a time in the future “where all forms of feeling are illegal”. Thought it was pretty good, in the lead-actor-is-hero sense. I’ve seen Bale in El Maquinista and Harsh Times so I know what extremes he can pull off. Playing John Connor should be a breeze.
