I know the trend is for comics to go across tv and film, but Spiderman, on stage? I can just see how cheezy this one will be:

1. Peter Parker is suddenly British, and so is the rest of the cast. He sounds like David Archuleta.
2. It will be about his love for Mary Jane… otherwise, it wouldn’t be gay.
3. Aunt May will be the main source of cliches.
4. The Goblin and Spidey will swing around the stage half of the time.
5. Somewhere in the musical everyone will dance to The Spiderman theme.
6. The fight scene will be accompanied by an overture.
7. It will end in an awe inspiring song that will make all the gay comic lovers go “Awww.”
