BackLineMedia Undergoes Cesarian Re-birth

Had there been one available in the net, I would have preferred the picture of a man coming out of a womb.. or a computer for that matter. But it seems there are not too many people in this world as morbidly made as I am, so I settled for a baby holding a bottle. A rather angelic version - but definitely better than other images of re-birth (butterfly coming out of a cocoon, anyone?)

I, Paolo, due to the relative success of the Merlin Club, have decided to give the weekly blogtivity a section of its own. I say “relative success” because it has delivered its promise even with the handful of participants - that is, to help bloggers connect with each other, gain readers, and increase links. Now what if it rose to 50… think of how much that would benefit you.

But there was a downside to this as well. For the past two weeks, I became more of a facilitator; leaving out my own writings for the sake of making sure that anyone who dropped by this site knew full well that the club existed. All that time, I’ve been giddy to write…

Shoving the project onto its own place solved this but it also meant pushing the things related to it - featured blogs and blogs reviews, making money online articles along with blogging and writing tips come cool with the project. Of course, that’s already all of what Backlinemedia blog was all about. =P

Hence, the new problem. What am I to do with the main blog?

I scoured the depths of my brain for the wildest thoughts on how to run a main blog without jeopardizing its past articles (I’m a niche-nut like this). I thought of a news blog, one that would tackle popular interest - but there are too many blogs already doing that.

so I scoured the depths of my brain further and, in a eureka moment figured, there aren’t too many blogs making fun of the News!?! And just like that I came out of the womb with a topic not so new to me - sarcasm, stupidity, information. I chuckled and thought, “The libel potential for this is ginormous.”

I like it. =)
