Cybersquatting Increasing

Cybersquatting, the act of buying a trade marked domain for the main purpose of selling it to it’s owner has increase over the past year according to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) with more than 2000 complaints. This is a 48% increase from 2005. Majority of complaints came from the pharmaceutical, banking, internet, retail and entertainment industries.
