The News is Unfair

I’ve always rooted for Jack Black films even if they’re not big budgeted. Not that I have something special for him.. I just love stoner movies. SuperBad, Knocked Up, Dude Where’s My Car, Blades of Glory, Nacho Libre - these are the type of films that drag me out of the real world into Narnialand or some weird ass place where lions talk like Gandalf..
**Let that sink in for a moment..**
..then there’s Kung Fu Panda.
Source: Taking full advantage of Cinemascope’s wide screen to splash quicker-than-the-eye action across striking Chinese landscapes, animators led by directors John Stevenson and Mark Osborne deliver a movie that is as funny as it is frantic.
As a blogger, the growth I’ve seen from this career has made me expand from personal blogs to getting my own domain, to getting my own web host. But it wasn’t always easy.. when I initially transferred to a host I had to endure lots of problems getting my website to work - some of it was my fault (due to naivety), but some was also the host’s.
Nowadays I notice some bloggers dabbling at the same idea of getting their sites hosted so I have the following tips. First, focus on hosting security. Dont compromise your site for the cheapest host you find. It’s a different ballgame once you’re on your own and security can be a really big problem. And while you can use security features from your blog platform end, such as spam filters, for the most part it is still gonna be your host’s responsibility to keep you secure.
The website linked here, through WebHostRating.com, gives you a good idea of what to watch out for and expect when getting a web host. They’ve got valuable information regarding a variety of web-related topics as well, such as ecommerce, servers and shared hosts, reselling and of course security issues. I suggest you use this site for more information about web hosting specifications and tutorials.
No you’re not lost. You are still in that weird ass sarcastic blog that talked about Iran’s estranged relationship with Barbie and anorexia’s take on K.F.C. It’d been 5 months since I put up that dreaded blue magazine template and I felt it’s time to be reborn.
So how do you like it?
I think the main problem dealt with here is the idea that I am not at all a magazine blog. I think some peepz, especially those who do not know anything about the blogs, get intimidated with jumping from a summary to an article as long as a novel.
Those who’ve taken the time to read me though… well, now there’s no more appetizers for you. It’s the entre right up.. so eat me!
But yeah, I’d still like to get your feedback - I might consider going back to the magazine template since that’s flooded with ads. Lolz! And, Daniel Liew, this is sooo your last template. I think =P

I dont know if all these stories coincide. I mean, clearly, Apple has not run out of stock. Therefore, cutting online sales for the sake of shipping it to Asia only creates a stench of marketing in my head. Is Apple laying out plans to show us what they have in place of the widely hailed, widely criticized, and widely expensive Steve Jobs prodigy?
Everybody knew it was coming - the iPhone 2.0, the 3G iPhone, whatever - the only question was when.
The buzz is that Steve Jobs will pull a new, slickier Iphone from his ass come Appleās Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 9, keeping his I-am-technology’s-cool-stepdad status (y’know how he always mocks Bill Gates? Err..) and re-energizing the mobile phone feedback loop. But we dont know this for sure, some say he’ll pull it out from his pocket.
I had already made a vow of faith with the second generation Iphone (yes, even if it comes from Steve Job’s ass…). The moment it goes up, I will have my hands on it and he shall be called Jarvis! I just feel bad that my super, pseudo-conio friends in the Philippines will have to taste the left-over arrogance of this overly hyped gadget.
End notes:
This post was written on my personal blog, but heck, nobody reads that anyway.
So I was checking my Shinystat this morning - that’s the widget that tells me how many visits this site gets. And after realizing that I would most likely get 50 visits today at least, I went to the keywords section - which gives you the list of words people search for to find my site.
